Wilkswood Reggae Festival Live Stream
This year’s Wilkswood Reggae Festival might be postponed but you can still experience the atmosphere with our live stream event from lunchtime on Saturday 25th.
Tune into our Facebook page from 12 noon to experience live sets from several festival bands, MCs, sound systems and poets.
To try to fill that gaping void left by your favourite music festival having to reschedule this year, the Wilkswood Reggae Family are putting together a Live Stream on Saturday July 25th 2020. Several of the artists, sound systems and poets will be broadcasting direct into your living rooms, kitchens, cars and gardens in an exclusive and totally free-to-air live performance.
The live stream is a thank you from the Wilkswood Reggae Festival organisers to everyone that’s supported them throughout the coronavirus pandemic uncertainty. All bar a handful of ticket holders have agreed to roll their tickets over for next year’s event and the full line-up has been signed up for next year’s rearranged event on July 23-25 2021. As well as enabling all festival goers to reminisce about what could have been, it’ll also be a taster to the wider public of what will be coming up next year.
The running order for the live stream:
12 noon – 2pm Countryman Sound System
2pm – 3pm Rootstone
3pm – 4pm Roots Jukebox
4pm – 5pm The Decatonics
5pm – 6pm Majix
6pm – 7pm Afro Tallowah
7pm – 8pm Countryman Sound System
8pm – 9pm Dubheart & Brother Culture
9pm – 10pm D-Tox
There will also be live poetry interspersed throughout the event featuring spoken word artists from the DJ Derek Fringe Stage.
