Just One Month To Go Until Wilkswood Reggae 2023
Where does the time go? One minute you’re wrapping Christmas presents, the next you’re packing your tent and sleeping bag and making your annual pilgrimage to the Wilkswood Reggae Festival in Dorset. With just one month to go to the 2023 festival, if you haven’t already bagged your tickets, you’re gonna be cutting it fine.
This year’s festival features the ever young Midnight Rocker himself, Horace Andy, in somewhat of a summer festival exclusive, along with a host of live acts and sound systems including Hollie Cook, Kiko Bun, Aba Shanti-I, Channel One Sound, Young Warrior, Roots Daughters, Dub Judah, Brother Culture and over 40 other acts.
All Tier One and Two Weekend Tickets are now sold out and the remaining tickets are selling fast as people start planning for the summer festival trail. With a limited capacity of 2,500 (to keep things nice and intimate) and only very limited day tickets available, we’re expecting another sell out year. So if you’ve been planning on joining us then now would be a good time to bag your tickets.
Adult weekend tickets are £150 for three days of music plus three nights camping. Under 18s are £75 for the weekend (must be accompanied by at least one adult) and under 3s are free (you’ll still need to book a ticket for licensing purposes). There are still some Family Bundle Tickets available offering two Adult weekend and two Youth weekend Tickets for £400, a saving of £50. Weekend campervan passes are an additional £25 per vehicle.
BONUS THURSDAY TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE
In addition, and following on from the success of the Bonus Thursday tickets at least year’s festival, there will also be an extra festival day available for staunch reggae lovers on Thursday 20th July. Tickets are priced at £30 for admission to the main arena and an extra night’s camping.
The Bonus Thursday was originally offered free of charge as a small thank you to all ticket holders that retained their tickets from the Covid-cancelled 2020 and 2021 festivals. It proved a great success and is a perfect way for festival goers to ‘settle in’ before the crowds descend. This year the Bonus Thursday will feature a live DJ set from Leeds finest, the Iration Steppas, plus the usual sound systems, and food and drink stalls. So if you want to turn your weekend into almost a week, book your extra festival ticket online today. Tickets for Thursday are limited to 1,000 and are only valid when presented with a weekend ticket or by residents of the BH19 postcode area.
