Streetfood, Bars & Merchandise

The Wilkswood Reggae Festival has plenty of food and drink to keep you refreshed and recharged over the weekend. There is fabulous street food with Jamican jerk food, wood-fired pizzas and award-winning Mexican food. Add to that some amazing vegetarian and vegan food, mouth-watering waffles and energy boosting smoothies.

This year we have some of your favourite’s back but a few new ones to try out.

St Best Caribbean Caterers
Last year Julia and Dennis provided vegetarian Caribbean but this year they are taking the main spot next to the bar to provide a full Caribbean menu (meat and vegetarian) at very reasonable prices.

Hidden Pizza Company
The hidden Pizza team are back again. They say it is their favourite festival and the relationship with the reggae festival is reciprocal as we also love their pizzas!

Bratwurst UK
Jason is back with his selection of bratwurst sausages with a range of toppings for you to try.

Ooomami
New for this year are Ooomami who specialise in ravioli fritti; homemade ravioli that they deep-fry and serve with some homemade sauces and cheese. There are different colours, flavours, shapes and even (if you want to try something new) some dessert options. According to Gareth, once tried you WILL be back!

J Norwood Ltd
Junior is offering a taste of America with Mac and Cheese Burger, Sloppy Joe Burger, American Nachos, Philly Cheesesteak,

Montein Thai
Authentic Thai food cooked fresh to order. Mains are served with rice or noodles with the option of a side dish.

Trinidadian Street Food
Justin and his team are heading to Wilkswood for the first time but we are looking forward to sampling his Trinidadian Doubles. Pillowy soft fried breads served with curried chickpeas and chutneys. They will also be offering phoulorie (seasoned deep fried dough balls served chutneys). All their food is Vegan.

Loaded Fries
Back by popular demand is Jim and his variety of loaded fries and his very popular Reggae Burger. You decide how hot you want it!

Campsite
Why bother trying to cook yourself breakfast when we have two amazing breakfast outlets on the camp site. Both offering a variety of breakfast meals plus “real” coffee!

Bars
As usual, the Main Bar will be serving  a wide selection of draught lagers, beers and cider, there will be ice cold Red Stripe as well as a wide range of wines and spirits. The Rum Bar will be serving rum cocktails, adult ‘slushies’ and fresh juices.

Merchandise
There will be a range of merchandise stalls selling clothing, hats, sunglasses, jewellery, vinyl records: pretty much anything reggae related to use at the festival or remind you of the weekend when you get back home. There will also be henna tattoos, dreadlocks and face painting stalls in the main arena.
